Woke Policies
Wokeness and virtue signalling distracts a company from its core business, which is to make a profit for shareholders while delivering excellent, affordable products and services to its customers. Businesses should not be distracted from this core purpose, otherwise there will be unnecessary costs which are ultimately passed onto consumers. Woke ideologies are typically unfriendly towards the traditional family unit.
Below are some woke policies and initiatives from Starbucks…
Gender Ideology & LGBTQ+

“We have always believed in equal treatment of all individuals and have a long history and commitment to our LGBT partners, including those who are transgender or transitioning. More recently, we broadened our health care coverage to include gender reassignment surgery and believe this level of accessibility to health care is a leading practice that all employers and providers should offer. For nearly a decade, our Workplace Gender Transition Guidelines have supported partners who are transgender or considering transitioning.”
